The Xiaomi Company has been working on its successor after the latest success of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is just around the corner. Dubbed as the ‘most popular phone’, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has gained the appreciation of many satisfied users and it is no surprise that everyone is eagerly waiting for the latest addition to the Xiaomi family.
Redmi Note 5: The New Game For Xiaomi
Well, it is good news for all of us that the follow-up of the latest, best-selling Redmi Note 4 has been spotted in the TENAA certification authority in China, a bit ahead of the official launch of the phone. The two phones announced have the model numbers MEE7 and MET7. And the similar specifications and their almost identical features to the Redmi Note 4 are clear indications that these phones are the next members of the Redmi Note series.
What seems to be interesting is that both of the models have an 18:9 aspect ratio. Where most companies are trying to manufacture bezel-less smartphones, Xiaomi has always been more concerned with the phone quality and budget.
The leaked sample of the smartphone revealed that the new design of the phone has thinner bezels and also a dual back camera setup. But the TENAA certification clearly establishes that the new addition will have a single camera setup.
What Do We Know?
According to the TENAA listings, the speculations for the Redmi Note 5 are that it will have a 5.99-inch display with an HD resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The previous rumour regarding the 5.5-inch display of Redmi Note 5 has clearly been shut off by this revelation. As far as the designing goes, Xiaomi Note 5 will be inspired by the Chinese masterpieces such as Vivo and ZTE and have a small top and bottom bezel, which will make it an entirely different model from the Redmi Mix 2.
The new smartphone models are also speculated to have an Octa-core processor chipset of 2 GHz with either the rumoured Snapdragon 630 or the MediaTek Helio P25. Reports also state that Xiaomi might just go for Snapdragon 660 for a variation.
What works for the upcoming smartphone is that it has a 12MP rear camera and a striking dual-LED flash with a front camera of 5MP. The phone is set to run on MIUI 9 that is based in the Android 7.1.2 Nougat.
Not to mention that LTE support which enables the phone with a hybrid slot for SIM. With an amazing fingerprint sensor that is mounted on the rear and multiple connectivity choices such as GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and much more, this phone is nothing less than a catch.
The new models of the Xiaomi phones will have three different storage options: 3GB RAM with a variable option of 16GB and 32GB internal storage, and a 4GB RAM with a 64GB internal storage. Having a battery power of 4000mAH, this phone is all set to be the ‘godfather’ of all the other Xiaomi smartphones.
With so many colours available for the smartphones and with this many fantastic specifications, gossips are wide for the success of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 after its launch.
